A drama script for Easter. It’s early morning on that first Easter Sunday, and most of the eleven disciples are still snoring loudly. Those waking up are chatting about life, the weather and fish – but mostly about Jesus and, more pressingly, what he would have wanted them to do next. Do they stay and wait? Do they go back to their jobs? Or maybe take a gap year!
As they chat they reveal how little they still understand about Jesus. Did he actually have a plan for them? For the world? Come to think of it, are they actually sure who he was?
Oh, and who is that banging so loudly on the door?
This terrifically engaging script is full of humour but also shows the bewilderment of the disciples in the days following the crucifixion.
